Managing Partner

Denton, Texas

Born just south of Dallas, and true to his Texas roots, Andrew M. Lloyd fights proudly for families and justice. He exemplifies the attitude contained in the phrase – Don’t mess with Texas! He doesn’t let people mess with his clients, either. Big government and belligerent litigators threaten his clients’ lives, so he defends them. He’s a negotiator by birth and an attorney by trade, whose ultimate prowess and skill lie in the courtroom. He’s tenacious, witty, intelligent, and scrappy. With a nickname like “Texas Spanker,” what else would you expect?

A former prosecutor and Texas Super Lawyer 4 years in a row, he’s been handling criminal and family law cases in front of Judges and juries for over a decade with a finesse and charisma that leaves people in awe. He can change the pace of a case quickly, understanding the underpinnings of the justice system and the inner workings of a case file. He’s real. He’s personal. And he’s a fighter.

He’s the Vice President of the Denton County Bar Association, former Vice President of the Denton County Criminal Defense Lawyer’s Association, and 5-time Master of Ceremonies for the annual Denton County Bench Bar Conference, where all the local Judges and lawyers spend time learning the law. He’s been a guest speaker several times over the years at these and other legal conferences.

Outside of the courtroom, Andrew’s the ultimate family man and churchgoer. He’s a father of four awesome children and husband to his beautiful Inga. He enjoys cycling, running, and racquetball and has competed in many triathlons. He’s also a martial artist, having learned the craft of Wing Tsun Kung Fu for many years and is currently studying American Karate, where he is two belts away from Black Belt.

What Our
clients are
about our firm.

Thank you for everything. I am very satisfied with the work you’ve done as I compare it to the lack of work that was done with my previous lawyer most recently.

Thank you and your staff for all your hard work! We rocked it!

J. & V. R.

Thanks, the girls are very happy.

— Pleased client,

I can’t thank you enough for helping with the case. I am ecstatic about what you were able to accomplish, and I hope to continue the partnership going forward.

Thank you again,

Thank you for taking my case at the tail end and repairing the damage the previous lawyer had done. The detailed time you spent in preparation for my trial was impressive and appreciated, I just wish I had found you right from the start!

Your professionalism and advice made a very stressful situation manageable, thank you. And most importantly, thank you for your genuine care in getting me more time with my son.

Thank you so much for playing such a large part in [our child’s] adoption. Your kind words brought tears to our eyes and it meant the world to have you there for the big day. Can’t wait to meet your wonderful wife and family.

Thank you for all you have done for me, my children, and husband. I am grateful for all your efforts and victories on our behalf.

With much love,

This is long overdue…. You have spent so much time with me on the phone, emails, explaining things to me. You are so kind and patient. Thank you for everything you have done for me during my time of hardship. You are the best!

Most sincerely,

M. H.

Thank you for being there for us, as always. Merry Christmas.

I wanted to personally thank you for all of your work on our file, standing beside us at court, and looking after [our new son] when he needed it most. It’s good to have people on your side. You are amazing! You’ll always be a part of our forever family. Thank you.

Thank you so much for all of your continued support and for always having our back! We will forever be grateful!

R. B. & T. D.

Thank you so much, I understand by this letter, that their attorneys will file a release of judgement soon. Thank you again for all your hard work!

It was a pleasure working with you on the mediation yesterday, and I appreciate you completing the mediation when my client was not prepared to pay any additional mediation fees…I thought you did an excellent job as mediator, and I would not hesitate to utilize your services or recommend you as an attorney in the future.

Thank you to both of you for helping J. and myself through this trying time in our lives. When J. called to tell me about the court session, I expected the worst even though he wasn’t in jail. But he told me how you had talked to the Judge and worked out a deal. I think this outcome will be better…as it will also give him a chance to continue to learn and grow from this trial in his life. Thank you both for your dedication to helping people.
